Eng. M.J.P. Kulatunge
FOUNDER / MANAGING DIRECTOR - PRINCEWAY COLLEGE
Eng. Mudalige Jagath Prabath Kulatunge, being an Owner/Managing Director/ Principal of Princeway College processes the following background which is most suitable for the effective management of this English Medium School. He is a professional Chartered Engineer who studied in University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in the field of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering in early 1980’s. He obtained his Professional Chartered Engineers Qualification from Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka in 1992 and further obtained Fellow Member of Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka in 2011 in which he has been upgraded to highest Professional Engineers grade in Engineering Profession ... He had been working in Sri Lanka Telecom PLC which is one of the most leading Telecommunication companies in the world for more than 36 years in varies positions namely Reginal Telecommunication Engineer in Kandy and Avissawella, Deputy General Manager- island wide Customer Lines and Services and finally General Manager -Quality Assurance looking after everywhere in the country. While working in SLT, he further continued his studies and entered to part-time three year Master of Science Management Degree Course and obtained the Master’s degree of Management in 2004. He also processes Diploma in Quality Management which he obtained from Sri Lanka Standard Institution, Sri Lanka in 2010. Then he became the Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 (QMS) Quality Management System in 2010. He also processes many world-wide International Qualifications which he obtained as scholarships during the tenure of SLT. Firstly, Practical Solution of Quality Related Problems, The Program of Quality Management, International Telephone Communication Engineering and PCM Engineering four varies courses in four different years in Japan. Secondly, Optical Fibre Technology Course and Telecommunication Engineering Course in two different years in China. Thirdly, Management, Design, Construction and Maintenance of Telecommunication Network in New Zealand. Fourthly, Public Data Network Course in British Telecom, England in 1993. Fifthly, External Line Plant Course in Finland in 1987. Sixthly, Telecommunication Management Course in Korea. Finally, Participated in 21st Asia- Pacific Quality Conference -2015 in China and won a First Class Award on Excellent Presentation Skills for his paper presentation. In other words, he is a Visiting Lecturer of some Technical Colleges, Universities and also conducting many seminars in SLT and several Private and Government Organizations. Moreover, he is a dedicated and result-driven Senior Manager with a highly successful background in performing various activities during his carrier. He has a wide variety of experience in working with a Top Management positions in a leading large organization in Sri Lanka with the primary focus to improve the productivity of the Company. He not only processes excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills but also has the ability to handle in highly pressurized and challenging working environments.
Prof. Dr. H.H.D.N.P Opatha
HONORARY ADVISER - PRINCEWAY COLLEGE
Dr. HHDNP Opatha , a Litterarum Doctor, is the first Professor of HRM (on Merit) in Sri Lanka; the first Senior Professor in HRM in Sri Lanka; the author of the first comprehensive textbook in Sinhala medium on HRM, the first English medium Sri Lankan textbook on HRM, the first English medium Sri Lankan textbook on OB and, a creative book titled Personal Quality; and the main author of the book "Enhancing your PQ" published by UUM. He has now 33 years of experience in active teaching for thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students in addition to industry personnel. His contributions have been honoured and recognized by various local and international entities including SUSL, IPM (Sri Lanka), IIPM (India), World HRD Congress, and National Book Foundation, Malaysia.
Mrs. Pushpa Senadeera
PRINCIPAL - PRINCEWAY COLLEGE
Pushpa Senadeera is a teacher in a leading government school. She possesses a Bachelor of Education Degree and the teacher training certification from the National Institute of Education. She is a well-qualified teacher in grade 1 and 2 classes, as a government teacher with more than 28 years of work experience. She has especially been trained for primary education and teaching for primary grade students. She has already gained experience by performing as a sectional head in the primary section and she facilitates and contributes to the development of Princeway College to its climax.
